The King is Coming

I began reading a new book about 2 weeks ago called "THE KING IS COMING," by. John Bevere.  What a great book on the end times and Jesus second coming. I have had a hard time putting it down. I have also listened to many of his podcasts and used his app "Messenger."  

I have not been a person who believed I could preach on the end times because of a lot of controversy over the Rapture and when it was going to occur. I now have a new insight into that and believe that not only do I now have a good idea through scripture when it is going to happen (before the tribulation), but also what it really takes for a person to be ready to go when the trumpet calls for those in Christ to go and meet Him in the air. 

I am going to preach a series of sermons, not just from this book but also from information I have gathered through my personal studies, that I hope will inspire and challenge many to get ready for Christ's second coming.  I am not just inspired to preach this series but compelled to do so at my own peril, for if I do not, I will answer to the Lord for not doing so. I want everyone to grow in their relationship with the Lord and to be ready for Christ's return.
