What Is a Prayer Warrior?

A prayer warrior intentionally seeks God and stands in prayer for others. Prayer is not simply an activity of the Christian life—it is part of our relationship with God.

Jesus taught His disciples:

“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” — Luke 18:1

Paul instructed the church:

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.” — Ephesians 6:18

And James reminds us:

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

— James 5:16

Prayer Warrior Scripture

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” — Jeremiah 33:3

Prayer Warrior Declaration

I will seek God, trust God, listen to God, and faithfully intercede for others.

Prayer warriors stand in the gap for the next generation and for those who serve them. This schedule gives a simple weekly rhythm, so Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, the worship service, and every worker are covered in intercession—not only on Sunday, but all week long.
We pray for protection, salvation, holy living, anointing, and joy. We ask the Lord to pour out prevenient grace on individuals of all ages who have not yet believed, justifying grace on those coming to Christ, and sanctifying grace on every worker and student who already belongs to Him.
You are called to pray daily for each ministry and person in and out of the church. To pray for the ministers that they will have wisdom in following God’s Will for the church. Pray for individuals to receive in love the Word of God and its many facets of teaching so that people will not allow Satan to defeat God’s work in this place.
